Interests & hobbies nowadays include amateur fossil collecting, music (I play keyboards fairly well and drums very badly), and sculpting with polymer clay.

My favourite class of fossil is the trilobite. These extinct marine arthropods survived several mass extinction events and remained on the planet for 270 million years or longer. The recognisable human lineage by comparison is generally considered to have been around for 5 million years or fewer, with Homo Sapiens only being 250 thousand years old or thereabouts. As such, trilobites give me a sense of proportion on the relative importance of humankind on a global scale.

I've been learning Chen style Tai Chi since April 2009.

I'm autistic, having been diagnosed in April 2016 with an ASC under the DSM-5.

I'm gay (near as makes no difference). I am also an atheist and an evolutionist. Please do not try to rubbish my views on these themes, and I will similarly respect your views even if I do not share them.

Pet hates : Bigotry, bullying, racism, intolerance, cruelty by man against other equal members of the animal kingdom, slavery, mistreatment of war veterans, people who always take and never give, arrogance.

Although I have no problem with adult art, I personally do not ever make yiffy sculptures. Therefore I am in this group - note this is purely to do with the art I do (and don't) create for upload onto FA. If you want me to make a yiffy sculpture please bear this in mind and don't take offence when I decline. Thank you.
